We can develop a quality supplier for your products, arrange a guided factory tours to select your supplier, open a China Representation office or establish a new manufacturing facility. Sourcing Services for U.S. Manufacturers

Our private sourcing service is designed for buyers who want to participate in the process of selecting qualified manufacturer/supplier. Just tell us the types of products you are looking for, and we will find a number of reputable suppliers in China and arrange for appointments with each supplier for you. You will then be personally escorted on each visit, and our staff will be your translator. China Smart Sourcing will also make all the arrangements for travel and lodging, including obtain China visa at Consulate General of China in Chicago. You need only get to airport and China Smart Sourcing will take care of the rest.

Services and operating procedures

• Selection of appropriate and reputable suppliers

Once we receive the necessary details for your product, we will research your product needs to find best suppliers, evaluate their quality and service.

• Presentation of suppliers profile

China Smart Sourcing will provide you supplier profiles that give you in-depth information about each supplier and serves as a briefing book for your China visit.

• Sourcing Event, face-to-face meeting

We will arrange to have each supplier meet with you, under our supervision, during your visit to China. Supplier-side participants are briefed and come prepared with additional supporting documents, samples and preliminary pricing.

Normally you will meet with representatives from each supplier as a group, as well as one-on-one in Shanghai/Guangzhou over a period of 1 or more days. If you want to physically visit to plants to inspect facilities and evaluate operations, we will be happy to arrange for you also.

• Contract negotiation

We are working for you, not them, and will make sure you obtain the best possible contract with the supplier, one that clearly protects your rights while spelling out any liabilities. We will work with you as long as you need us. You decide when the training wheels come off and you're comfortable to go it alone.

Our fee structure

• We charge a flat, one-time fee for the private sourcing event

One product - $5,000
Two to four products - $10,000
Five to eight products - $15,000

We normally select three or more qualified Chinese suppliers to provide quotes, pricing review and analysis. We guarantee that, at the end of the event, you will have a well-managed Chinese supplier to work with.

• After you have signed the contract with supplier, China Smart Sourcing will be compensated through commission, based on the purchase of production products that the customer makes. The fee ranges between a contracted 5% to 10% depending on volume and the need for ongoing assistance or follow-up. The fee will remain in place for as long as the product is being purchased.
